Monochrome fashion is all the rage at the moment, or layering multiple pieces of the same color clothing over each other. Majority of the time this look is achieved with blacks, whites, or grays but today I decided to reflect my winter blues with this almost all blue ensemble.
For my hair, I wanted to continue the clean formal look the cool blue button down gave, while also playing with the overalls, and mixed patterns of my socks and shoes, so I went with double bun look.

Can you guys believe it’s already February? It seems like just last week it was Christmas! Well anyways, there’s a couple of clothing items I’ve had my eye on this past month. As most of you guys know my birthday was a couple weeks ago. Since my birthday is around the holidays I thought it might be a good idea to do a holiday/ birthday haul. I in no way am trying to brag about what I got as gifts, and I am extremely grateful for everything that I got. I think that the most important things in life cant be bought, but I’m very happy to have friends and family who know me well enough to get me gifts that they know I would love. If life was an Indie music styled album cover, full of abstract seemingly unrelated objects, laid-back original clothing, and an overall vibe that you just wanted to be part of, it would be a whole lot better. For this shoot, model Anabel Riggio, allowed me to drag her around with a ruck sack full of objects and pose her with them to put together a shoot that was creative, and limitless. The overall result have a summery vibe but don’t be fooled, it was freezing outside.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year there’s so many things I’m thankful for, from small things, like my new phone or maybe even Black Friday shopping, to more important things such as my family and friends. I think, no matter what, there is always something to be thankful for.
Anyways, here’s what I wore on thanksgiving this year.
Imagine walking into a room and only seeing a sea of crops tops, high waisted shorts, and white high top converse around you. Because of stores like Brandy Melville, Forever 21, and Pacsun this type of thing isn’t a rare occasion. Now, I’m not saying those stores are bad. In fact, I happen to love shopping at all those places but sometimes it gets boring shopping at the same stores over and over again. Luckily, with many self-run online stores and boutiques popping up left and right, being original may not be as hard as it seems. Fall (insert heart eye emoji) is upon us, and you’ll realize if you keep up with our blog, Fall is my absolute favorite season for two reasons. Halloween. And. Layers.
More importantly, (in this post at least) Layers! While fall is “sweater Weather” (#theNeighbourhood) there are endless possibilities to spice up your wardrobe. Mix patterns, textures, seasonal clothes, anything really. Socks with sandals? Why not! Stripes and floral prints? Dress with button downs? Even stack and layer your jewelry! Its up to you lovelies!
